Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Coyotes vs. Red Mountain Mountain Lions

The Skyline Coyotes will venture away from home to challenge the Red Mountain Mountain Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Skyline was able to grind out a solid win over Browne, taking the game 56-46.

Meanwhile, Red Mountain waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged the Huskies out 61-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mountain Lions have posted since January 23, 2024.

Skyline's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12. As for Red Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

Skyline took a serious blow against Red Mountain when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 55-24. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Skyline was down 24-4.
