Softball Recap: Fort LeBoeuf Bison vs. North Rangers        
        
		
            
 Fort LeBoeuf had to start their season on the road  on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took  a  6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Rangers.
  Kiernan Skelton spent all eight innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.
 On the hitting side, Fort LeBoeuf saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryan Shields, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kendra Tobin, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
 On North's side, they also let their pitcher toss all eight innings played and she was also dialed-in:  Taylor Bard gave up only one earned run on seven hits and racked up eight Ks.
 At the plate,  Maddie Russo was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and a  double.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for North and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Fort LeBoeuf will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Seneca at 4:00  p.m. Fort LeBoeuf will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive. As for North, they will square off against McLean at 12:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. McLean's pitching crew has only allowed one  run per game  this season, so North's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
