Soccer Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Takes a Loss

Raymore-Peculiar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kearney Bulldogs. Even if Raymore-Peculiar couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Raymore-Peculiar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raymore-Peculiar will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on St. Michael the Archangel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kearney, they will square off against Lincoln College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Kearney their first taste of in-conference action this season.
