Baseball Recap: Naples Classical Takes a Loss

If Naples Classical was riding high fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Everglades City on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Naples Classical Academy came up short against the Mason Classical Academy Paladins on Thursday, falling 19-6. The Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Paladins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Naples Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mason Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naples Classical will welcome Donahue Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Donahue Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Mason Classical Academy, they will host Babcock at 4:00 p.m. on March 27th.
