After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sartell-St. Stephen, Moorhead was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Brainerd Warriors. The win continues a trend for the Spuds in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Moorhead's got stronger as the match went on, holding Brainerd to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-10.

Despite the loss, Brainerd still got an impressive performance from Evelyn Hagen, who had eight digs and eight assists.

Moorhead's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Brainerd, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Moorhead will venture away from home to take on Bemidji at 7:15 p.m. on the 11th. As for Brainerd, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Sartell-St. Stephen on the 4th.
