Ellensburg has gone 8-2 against Othello recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Both will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ellensburg has four straight wins, Othello has 14 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, Ellensburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Ephrata, taking the game 57-46. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly 11 points.

Meanwhile, Othello took a blow against Selah on Saturday, falling 87-45. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Vikings are ranked 47th).

Othello's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Ellensburg, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Ellensburg took their victory against Othello in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 67-45. Will Ellensburg repeat their success, or does Othello have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
