Football Recap: Port Gibson's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

The Port Gibson Blue Waves lost 28-6 to the Simmons Blue Devils on Friday. The loss was the Blue Waves' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Port Gibson still got an impressive performance from LENELL SNYDER, who rushed for 125 yards and one score on only eight carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Port Gibson fell to 3-1. As for Simmons, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Gibson will take on Ouachita Parish at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Waves will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matches. As for Simmons, they will challenge Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
