Front Royal HomeSchool was handed a six-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Immanuel Christian 7-5.

Meanwhile, Fredericksburg V gave up the first runs two weeks ago, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Quantico as Fredericksburg V made off with a 15-4 win.

Luke Jany made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Jany was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryan DeWald, who scored three runs and stole six bases while going 3-for-3. Caleb Rutledge was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
