Community School of Davidson is a perfect 8-0 against Corvian Community since August of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Spartans will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Community School of Davidson has six straight victories, Corvian Community has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Community School of Davidson is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: Pine Lake Prep, who was ranked 19th at the time (Community School of Davidson was ranked 17th). The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pride on Thursday.

While Community School of Davidson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Corvian Community lost 3-0 to Pine Lake Prep on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-7.

Corvian Community's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Community School of Davidson, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Everything went Community School of Davidson's way against Corvian Community when the teams last played back in September, as Community School of Davidson made off with a 3-0 victory.
