They came out on top in a nail-biter against the South Mountain Jaguars on Tuesday, sneaking past 59-57. The victory was some much needed relief for the Stampede as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

South Mountain lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Eliah Dixon Jr., who posted 16 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Robinson, who posted 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Fairfax's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for South Mountain, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Fairfax has already played their next match, a 49-47 defeat against Copper Canyon on the 27th. As for South Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-26 victory against Metro Tech on the 27th.
