Volleyball Recap: Alanson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Alanson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Maplewood Baptist Academy Black Bears, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Alanson's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Maplewood Baptist Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-3 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Alanson and Mackinaw City will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Maplewood Baptist Academy has already played their next match (against Engadine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
