Football Game Preview: South Side Rams vs. Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers + Official Tickets

South Side has won five straight games at home, while Chartiers-Houston has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Rams will challenge the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

South Side barely beat Rochester the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. South Side's defense stepped up to hand Rochester a 35-0 shutout on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering South Side's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Rochester is ranked 516th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chartiers-Houston). They blew past Northgate, posting a 56-20 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Buccaneers with their most commanding win of the season.

South Side's record is now 8-2. As for Chartiers-Houston, their record now sits at 7-3.
