Basketball Recap: Ascend Leadership Takes a Loss

Ascend Leadership lost against Triangle Math & Science back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ascend Leadership Aviators fell 52-44 to the Triangle Math & Science Tigers.

Triangle Math & Science can attribute much of their success to Adnan Mohamed, who posted 15 points along with six boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave Mohamed a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rehaan Subzwari, who had eight points and eight rebounds.

Ascend Leadership's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Triangle Math & Science, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-16.

Looking ahead, Ascend Leadership will be playing at home against Chatham Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Triangle Math & Science, they will take on Clover Garden School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
