Marco Island Academy skates past Mason Classical Academy with ease

The Marco Island Academy Rays can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mason Classical Academy 65-30 at home. The victory was just what Marco Island Academy needed coming off of a 73-33 defeat in their prior contest.
Marco Island Academy found their leader in underclassman Nick Sadler, who scored 34 points along with three steals. Those 34 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Grayson Jones, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Marco Island Academy's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Mason Classical Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6.
Marco Island Academy will face off against The Village School of Naples at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for Mason Classical Academy, they will be playing at home against Donahue Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Donahue Catholic's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups.
