Basketball Recap: Westside Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Westside got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They snuck past the Acorn Tigers with a 61-57 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Westside's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for Acorn, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Westside has already played their next matchup (against Subiaco Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Acorn Tigers face off against the Hector Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
