Basketball Recap: Muncy Indians vs. North Penn-Liberty Mountie
Muncy won the last time they faced North Penn-Liberty and things went their way on Saturday too. The Muncy Indians managed a 58-53 victory over the North Penn-Liberty Mountie. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Mountie are ranked 390th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Muncy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kohen Meyer, who went 9 of 10 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxton Frantz, who posted 12 points and three steals.
