Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Loyal walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Spring Valley Cardinals on Tuesday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Greyhounds have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fourth in a row for Loyal, bringing their record up to 16-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Spring Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

As of now, neither Loyal nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
