Baseball Game Preview: Tillamook Cheesemakers vs. Scappoose Indians

Tillamook is 0-10 against Scappoose since April of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Cheesemakers will head out on the road to face off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Tillamook sitting on three straight victories and Scappoose on six.

On Monday, Tillamook beat Astoria 4-1.

Meanwhile, Scappoose was able to grind out a solid win over St. Helens on Monday, taking the game 4-1.

Scappoose pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Tillamook, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Tillamook couldn't quite get it done against Scappoose in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 4-1. Can the Cheesemakers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
