Volleyball Recap: Conneaut Takes a Loss

Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Maplewood Rockets. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2020.

Conneaut's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Maplewood, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conneaut will host Lakeside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maplewood, they will challenge Lordstown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
