Baseball Recap: Granby Comes Up Short

Greenfield hit Granby with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams came up short against the Green Wave, falling 10-0. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Green Wave from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Granby's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Greenfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Granby will head out on the road to take on Hopkins Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greenfield, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hampshire Regional at 4:00 p.m.
