Baseball Recap: Virginia Episcopal School Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Virginia Episcopal School can now relate to. They fell 5-0 to the North Cross Raiders on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bishops haven't been shut out since back in March.

Virginia Episcopal School's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for North Cross, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Virginia Episcopal School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Cross, they will be taking part in a tournament against Miller School of Albemarle at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 2.8, the Mavericks 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
