Holy Redeemer waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Mountain View Eagles 17-0. The result was nothing new for the Royals, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Anne Carter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Zoe Pecuch was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Mary Lombardi, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Holy Redeemer was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive games.

Holy Redeemer pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Mountain View, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

As of now, neither Holy Redeemer nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
