East Yosemite league recap: 5/21/12

East Yosemite's longest active winning streak belongs to Tulare Union (23-13, 11-3), undefeated over its last four games. The streak was extended by another three games over the past week, including an 8-7 victory over Frontier and a 13-2 win over East Bakersfield. The team's hottest hitter over the past week was Christian Gastelum, who had zero hits and drove in zero runs.

Tulare Western's Darrien Leal was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won one game and struck out four batters.

Mission Oak's pitchers were the toughest in the league on opposing hitters this week, giving up only nine hits. On the year, the Hawks have allowed only 205 hits.
