Volleyball Game Preview: Davis County Mustangs vs. Centerville Big Reds/Redettes

The Davis County Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Davis County has struggled recently with seven losses in a row, while Centerville will arrive with four straight wins.

On Saturday, Davis County came up short against Albia and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Centerville also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to East Mills by a score of 2-0.

Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Centerville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.

Davis County was able to grind out a solid victory over Centerville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Big Reds/Redettes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
