Soccer Game Preview: Kent Denver vs. Forge Christian + How To Watch

The Kent Denver Sun Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Forge Christian Fury at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Kent Denver proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by ten) and last Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Eagle Ridge Academy, sneaking past 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Kent Denver in their matchups with Eagle Ridge Academy: they've now won four in a row.

Kayden Lihalakha and Dawson Dykee scored both of Kent Denver's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, Forge Christian's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand Stargate School a 1-0 shutout. Caleb Johnston had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Forge Christian got from the refs.

Forge Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2-3. As for Kent Denver, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-3.
