Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Eagleville Eagles, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 two weeks ago.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Eagleville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Looking ahead, Mt. Pleasant will challenge Lewis County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eagleville, they will head out on the road to square off against Huntland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
