Basketball Recap: Long Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pike Liberal Arts on Friday, Long came back down to earth. The Rebels took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appalachian Eagles on Monday.

Long's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Appalachian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Long will challenge Ashford at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Appalachian, they have already played their next matchup, a 53-52 loss against Locust Fork on the 25th.
