Volleyball Recap: Bayless Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hancock on Tuesday, Bayless came back down to earth. The Bronchos lost 3-0 to the Metro Panthers on Thursday. The Bronchos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Bayless was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 27-25.

Bayless' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Metro, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Bayless will square off against Crossroads at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bronchos are facing the Current at the right time seeing as the Current are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Metro will be paying especially close attention to Bayless' matchup: after Bayless faces off against Crossroads, they'll take on Metro again at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
