Soccer Game Preview: Barberton vs. Perry

The Barberton Magics will head out to square off against the Perry Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Barberton's offense. They fell just short of Copley by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Barberton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Perry also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 2-0 to Hoover on Tuesday. Perry have struggled against Hoover recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-2. As for Barberton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-4.

Barberton might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Perry when the teams last played back in August of 2016. Can the Magics avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
