Baseball Recap: ED White Triumphs

ED White barely beat Andrew Jackson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Commanders' pitcher stepped up to hand the Tigers a 14-0 shutout on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Commanders in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Nathan LaRosa made a splash no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. LaRosa was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kenai Wilkins, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Donny Moore was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

ED White always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Andrew Jackson only posted an OBP of .062.
