You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Beaumont's strategy against Citrus Valley on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cougars blew the Blackhawks out of the water with  a  56-3 final score. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 21  points or more this season.
 Jeremiah Duhu had another great game (as  he tends to do), throwing for 246 yards and three  touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also punching in a pair of  TDs on the ground. What's more,  he posted two  rushing touchdowns, the most he's  had since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Quillan Davis, who rushed for 156 yards and one  score on only 11 carries.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Beaumont was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 286  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in five consecutive  contests.
 Beaumont didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Adam Palalay and  Cameron Hazward. Palalay has been hot recently, having also posted five or more  total tackles the last three times he's  played.
Beaumont's record now sits at 7-2. As for Citrus Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matchups. Beaumont will square off against Redlands East Valley at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Cougars will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.56  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Citrus Valley, they will challenge Cajon at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Cowboys will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
