Lowell won the last time they faced Andover and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Raiders won by a goal and slipped past the Golden Warriors 1-0. Given Lowell's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Andover are ranked 62nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 13-0-2. As for Andover, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Lowell will take on Haverhill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
