Soccer Game Preview: South Hills vs. Colony

The South Hills Huskies will challenge the Colony Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Colony heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when South Hills took over last week. South Hills skirted past Alta Loma 4-3. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Braves are ranked 643rd), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Colony kept a clean sheet against Los Altos on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Conquerors. The result kept the Titans happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 20, 2024.

Colony has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for South Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-2.
