Volleyball Recap: East Dayton Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dunbar last Thursday, East Dayton Christian came back down to earth. East Dayton Christian lost 3-0 to the Hillsboro Christian Academy Crusaders on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-9.

Christian Perez paced East Dayton Christian's offense, picking up two kills. Perez got some help from Mario Vazquez and his two assists. Wesley Tarr and Ethan Baker kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Hillsboro Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Abe Dockins, who had five aces and three digs.

East Dayton Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hillsboro Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Dayton Christian will welcome Mars Hill Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillsboro Christian Academy, they will take on Dominion Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
