Orange Lutheran put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 33-6 win over the Mater Dei Monarchs. Considering the Lancers have won four matches by more than 25 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Orange Lutheran's victory came down to the chemistry between Makena Cook and her top target Happy Dubois. Cook threw for 189 yards and three TDs while completing 91.7% of her passes while Dubois picked up 92 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Cook a new career-high in passer rating (170.1).

Orange Lutheran didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Claire Dahman.

Orange Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mater Dei, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Orange Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 23-21 victory against Dos Pueblos on the 16th. As for Mater Dei, they will face off against Etiwanda at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
