Johnson County Sports Association scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Gholson, falling 73-52. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johnson County Sports Association now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Gholson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson County Sports Association will take on Milford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Gholson, they will face off against Iredell at 7:30 p.m. on October 4. Gholson will be up against the Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
