Basketball Recap: Christchurch School Wins Going Away Against North Cross

Christchurch School's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-23 win over the North Cross Raiders.

Alexis Foster went supernova for Christchurch School, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 steals. Those 12 steals gave Foster a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Callie Penick, who went 5 of 6 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Christchurch School now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Cross, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Christchurch School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-19 loss against Alleghany on the 7th. As for North Cross, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-24 defeat against Amherst County on the 7th.
