Liberty had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 14-7 victory over the Frontier Titans. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Robert Ellsworth threw for 121 yards on only six passes. On the ground, Jaxon Bell rushed for 75 yards and one TD.

This is the second loss in a row for Frontier and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-7 defeat against Los Gatos on the 5th. As for Frontier, they have also already played their next game, a 27-26 win against Clovis on the 5th.
