Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Pleasant). Everything went their way against the Keokuk Chiefs on Monday as they made off with a 15-2 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Mt. Pleasant's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Keokuk, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mt. Pleasant beat the Chiefs by a score of 4-2 later that day.
