With a playoff win on the line, Pine Bluffs rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Greybull Buffaloes. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won five in a row.

Hattie Lerwick paced Pine Bluffs' offense, picking up 14 kills. Lerwick got some help from Gracie Reifschneider and her 19 assists.

Despite the loss, Greybull still got an impressive performance from Shayne Cheatham, who had 30 digs. With that strong performance, Cheatham is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game. Sherlyn Diaz Rios was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Pine Bluffs' win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Greybull, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-10.

Pine Bluffs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Big Horn on the 7th. As for Greybull, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Rocky Mountain on the 7th.
