Football Recap: Harrison Starts Season with Win at Home

Harrison gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Varsity Opponent with a sharp 26-0 win.

Hailey Scocco threw for 46 yards and one touchdown. Kasandra Rodriguez was her top target, picking up 31 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Nada Bana rushed for 51 yards and a pair of TDs.

Harrison will challenge Ridgefield Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on April 3. This will be Harrison's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Varsity Opponent, they will face off against Myers Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Myers Park will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Varsity Opponent surely won't give up without a fight.
