Eastern is 8-2 against Christian Academy-Louisville since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will host the Centurions at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Eastern has three straight victories, Christian Academy-Louisville has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Eastern proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Lexington Catholic get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The one-run effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Christian Academy-Louisville lost 15-1 to South Oldham back in March.

Christian Academy-Louisville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Norton, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Norton's first of the season.

Eastern pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Eastern's way against Christian Academy-Louisville when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Eastern made off with a 17-6 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Centurions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
