Baseball Game Preview: Knoch Knights vs. Indiana Little Indians

The Knoch Knights will challenge the Indiana Little Indians at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Knoch 4.1, Indiana 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Knoch's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Wednesday's struggle, when Freeport hitters got past them. The Knights came up short against the Yellowjackets on Wednesday, falling 13-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since April 1st.

Meanwhile, Indiana put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Derry with a sharp 12-2 win. The Little Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Knoch's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Indiana, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.

Knoch might still be hurting after the 9-1 defeat they got from Indiana in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
