Fort Hancock piles up the points against Fabens

Recap: Fort Hancock Mustangs vs. Fabens Wildcats

The Fort Hancock Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Fabens 62-33 at home. The victory was just what Fort Hancock needed coming off of a 66-44 loss in their prior match.

It was another big night for Emmanuel Herrera, who scored 27 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Patrick Hernandez, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Fort Hancock's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10. As for Fabens, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Fort Hancock will be playing in front of their home fans against Job Corps at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Fabens on the road again on Friday and play against San Elizario at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. San Elizario will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
