Basketball Recap: Dylan Heald Key Part of a Team Effort in Student Win

There's no place like home for Indian Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 victory over the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-67 back in November of 2024.

Indian Springs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Heald led the charge by putting up 18 points. Heald's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Max Markstein was another key player, scoring 12 points.

The win got Indian Springs back to even at 9-9. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Indian Springs has already played their next contest, a 68-44 victory against Oak Grove on the 21st. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-56 win against Alabama Aerospace and Aviation on the 17th.
