Woodruff lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Westside, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Rams on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Woodruff is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Westside, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.

Woodruff does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westside, they will challenge T.L. Hanna at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
