Football Recap: Fort Lupton Bluedevils vs. Sterling Tigers

Fort Lupton lost against Sterling back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bluedevils lost 43-22 to the Tigers. The Bluedevils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Fort Lupton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Donte Lenox picked up 100 receiving yards, and also punched in one score on the ground. Lenox also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned for a touchdown.

Sterling's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances.
