Softball Recap: Pelahatchie Comes Up Short

Pelahatchie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Pisgah Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 back in March.

Zoey Jones was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Pelahatchie's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Pisgah, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

Coming up, Pelahatchie will challenge Raleigh at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pisgah, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Wesson on the 4th.
