Collinsville extended their postseason success on Friday against Rogers. They had just enough and edged out the Pirates 7-6. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Zach Clanton tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk).

At the plate, Collinsville let Jeremiah Killian and Mason McAteer run wild. Killian went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI, while McAteer got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That triple was Killian's first of the season. Sylas Adams was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Collinsville's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Rogers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-17.

Collinsville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pirates: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
