Basketball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 39-17 to the Monroe Bearcats. The Seagulls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Monroe, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Everett will square off against Ferndale at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monroe, they will challenge Shorewood at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Shorewood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
